 
A comprehensive range of guitars, including our own handmade instruments and externally sourced guitars are always carried in stock on the premises at the Well Guitar Clinic. This range includes acoustic, electro-acoustic, classical and electric guitars and basses, to suit both the novice or expert player, with new items constantly being added to the range on offer.
Fine handmade instruments are manufactured on the premise by the proprietor David Millington. These guitars are made from solid traditional tone woods with backs and sides individually selected for book matched grain pattern. Necks and internal bracing, based on the 'Martin' X bracing system for steel strung acoustics and 'Torres' fan bracing in the classical nylon strung, are individually hand carved on each individual guitar. Only fine quality materials and hardware are used on these guitars, each guitar having its own unique identity. Setting-up All guitars offered for sale at the Well Guitar Clinic undergo rigorous inspection and adjustment on the premises prior to being offered for sale to ensure that all instruments are set up to provide the best possible performance in terms of ease of playability and sonic performance. This includes adjustments to ensure the best possible string action (height of strings above the 12th fret and 1st fret for ease of fingering), neck relief, intonation, and on electric guitars pickup height and where applicable tremelo adjustment.
